A Long Expected Party: The 2nd Philippine Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention

Join us as the New Worlds Alliance, together with Fully Booked and Solar USA, presents A Long Expected Party: The 2nd Philippine Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention at The PowerPlant Mall Parking Quad, Rockwell on January 17 and 18, 2004. Hosted by The Philippine Tolkien Society, A Long Expected Party features a showcase of exhibits, seminars, contests, performances, booths and film screenings by different fan groups.
Follow the tragedies and battles spawned by the power of the One Ring in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings in TPTS' The War of the Ring and the Return of the King Timeline Diorama and Art Exhibit, as the story is told by a variety of collectibles, artworks and merchandise by local enthusiasts. Gasp in awe as two Jedi battle for supremacy when you watch the Star Wars Philippines Lightsaber Demo. If you feel like kicking vampire butt, show Buffy a thing or two in Pinoy Slayer's The Vampire Slayer High Kick Contest, or watch the Matrix Philippines Final Flight of the Osiris Duel. Gamers from AEGIS strut their stuff in An Introduction to Sci-Fi Role-Playing Games Workshop, and if you're still up to it after all of that, get a load of the gyrating, oh-so-mysterious, sexy man-clones, The Stormballs!
