On the eve of 2004, relive the adventure across the stars as Dream Satellite TV, Star Movies and Star Wars Philippines present to you the FIRST PHILIPPINE STAR WARS CONVENTION, from Thursday, December 18, to Sunday, December 21, 2003, in celebration of the Asian television premiere of "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones" on December 31, 2003, 9:30PM and 11:30PM, only on Star Movies.
Come to Alabang Town Center on Thursday, December 18, 2003, for the opening of the Convention at 4:00PM at the Cinema Lobby, and marvel at the works of international comic book artists Gerry Alanguilan, Gary Mayoralgo, Ryan Orosco, Edgar Tadeo and Carlo Vergara, amon g others, at the Star Wars Fan Art Exhibit, on display until Sunday, December 21, 2003. Add to your collection of Star Wars memorabilia as you browse through the merchandise on sale. Train as a Padawan at the Jedi Academy on Saturday and Sunday, December 20 and 21, or join the on-the-spot art contests and art demonstrations on Sunday, December 21. Educate yourself at seminars on collecting and digital filmmaking, and hold your breath as Jedi battle it out before your eyes with lightning moves and flashing lightsabers on Saturday, December 20, or simply mingle and talk interplanetary politics with the many Jedi milling about.
